Priyanka Chopra wraps Hyderabad schedule, heads to LA with a taste of the city

Priyanka Chopra has wrapped up the Hyderabad filming schedule for her upcoming Indian epic Varanasi and has returned to Los Angeles to begin promotions for her next Hollywood release, The Bluff. The update marks another busy phase in the actor’s global career, balancing major projects across industries.

After completing her shoot in Hyderabad — where she stars alongside Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran — Priyanka shared a light-hearted moment from her departure on social media. In an Instagram Story, she posted a picture of herself carrying the city’s iconic bun maska, captioning it, “Taking a piece of Hyderabad with me… see you soon.. xx.”

The actor also confirmed that the Hyderabad block was her final filming commitment for the month. She is now back in Los Angeles to focus on promotional duties for The Bluff, her upcoming Hollywood action film scheduled for release on February 25, 2026. Priyanka assured fans that she will return to the Varanasi set once her international commitments are complete.

In Varanasi, Priyanka plays Mandakini, a powerful and dynamic character. Her first-look posters have already generated significant buzz, featuring her in a bold yellow saree while wielding a pistol — a striking contrast to her recent roles in Western projects. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is positioned as a large-scale production and marks Priyanka Chopra’s return to Indian cinema after several years focused primarily on international work.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu, her co-star in Varanasi, recently praised Priyanka’s performance in The Bluff trailer, describing her as “uncompromising and formidable” in her action-heavy role. The Hollywood film also stars Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Zach Morris, David Field and Vedanten Naidoo in key roles, and is slated for a February 25 release.
