Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas may not walk the red carpet at the 2026 Met Gala. The actor recently hinted that she could be filming on the other side of the world when fashion’s biggest night takes place.
Speaking to British Vogue during her visit to Paris for Dior’s Autumn/Winter 2026 showcase, Priyanka suggested she might be “otherwise engaged on the first Monday in May.”
The reason? A demanding schedule for her upcoming film Varanasi, which is reportedly set to be shot in Antarctica.
Despite the potential scheduling clash, Priyanka sounded relaxed about possibly missing the event.

“There’s no one out there who does what he does. It’s artful, witty, playful, clever, cheeky. Jonathan’s world is entirely his own,” she said.
Priyanka wore a look from Anderson’s menswear line and later joked about the unexpected heat inside the greenhouse venue. “The choice of sweater might have been wrong,” she laughed.
