Television actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary has spoken candidly about one of the most demanding phases of her career, revealing that balancing Ektaa Kapoor’s fantasy drama Naagin 7 and the reality show Battleground often pushed her to her physical limits.
During her appearance on filmmaker Farah Khan’s YouTube channel, the actress reflected on the challenging schedule she maintained while filming both projects simultaneously. She admitted that despite the excitement of working on two high-profile shows, the experience was far more exhausting than it appeared.
Priyanka almost turned down Naagin 7
Priyanka revealed that she was initially hesitant to accept the role in Naagin 7 because she wanted to pursue projects that allowed for more natural and realistic performances.
She recalled receiving the offer while travelling to the United States.

Eventually, she accepted the project, describing it as an opportunity to challenge herself with a completely different genre.
Back-to-back shoots left little time for rest
Alongside Naagin 7, Priyanka had already committed to Battleground, where she appeared as one of the mentors.
Managing both productions meant following an intense work routine with almost no time to recover.
According to the actress, she spent around 26 days each month shooting for Naagin, with shifts lasting approximately 12 hours.
She then headed directly to the sets of Battleground, where filming usually continued overnight.

Priyanka added that she often survived on 40-minute naps, explaining that she struggles to sleep during the daytime despite the demanding schedule.
Choosing versatility over comfort
The actress said she deliberately accepted both projects because she wanted to explore different formats rather than limiting herself to one kind of role.
While Naagin 7 offered her an opportunity to step into a fantasy series, Battleground allowed her to connect with audiences in an unscripted reality format.
