The makers of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-anticipated action-drama Spirit released the film’s first official poster on Wednesday, giving fans a glimpse into the gritty world of Prabhas and Triptii Dimri’s characters.

Sharing the poster on X, the team captioned:

The poster shows Prabhas standing with his back to the camera, his bruised and wounded back wrapped in bandages, while Triptii Dimri lights a cigarette clenched between his lips. The visual immediately conveys the film’s intense and raw tone, suggesting a story rooted in struggle, resilience, and high stakes.

About the Film

Spirit marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Triptii Dimri and Vanga’s second project with Triptii after Animal. The teaser, released on Prabhas’s 46th birthday in October 2025, revealed that the actor plays a former IPS officer who finds himself in jail under the strict watch of a formidable jailer, Prakash Raj.

Triptii will portray his love interest, while Kanchana and Vivek Oberoi are also part of the ensemble cast. The film is produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.

Cast Changes

Originally, Deepika Padukone was slated to play the female lead, but she was replaced following disagreements over remuneration and alleged unprofessional behaviour, according to media reports.

During promotions for his 2023 hit Animal, Vanga had shared insights into Spirit, emphasizing that unlike his previous films (Animal and Arjun Reddy), the protagonist comes from a middle-class background.
