Singer Palaash Muchhal has been making headlines amid reports alleging that he cheated on Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana just a day before their wedding. The controversy intensified after his recent hospitalisation and reports that the couple’s wedding has now been postponed indefinitely. Amid the ongoing buzz, Palaash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, has continued to stand firmly by his side.

While her brother faces turbulence in his personal life, Palak Muchhal’s own relationship with celebrated music composer Mithoon Sharma has often been cited as one built on stability, trust and companionship.

Palak Muchhal And Mithoon Sharma’s Relationship Began Professionally

For the unversed, Palak Muchhal married Mithoon Sharma on November 6, 2022, after years of knowing each other professionally. Their journey began long before romance entered the picture. The two first collaborated on the iconic song ‘Meri Aashiqui’ from Aashiqui 2 (2013), where Palak lent her voice and Mithoon composed the music.

Over the years, the duo worked together on several songs including Keh Bhi De, Door Naa Jaa and Bandhan. What started as a creative partnership eventually turned into a deeply personal bond.

Palak Muchhal Once Said Her Bond With Mithoon Is Rooted In Friendship

In an earlier interview with The Screen, Palak Muchhal revealed that her relationship with Mithoon has always been rooted in friendship. She shared that she enjoys doing everything with her husband and sees him as her closest companion.

Palak described their companionship as the biggest blessing of her life, adding that the two love travelling together whenever time permits. Interestingly, the couple also shares a love for vegetarian cuisine, often bonding over food.

Despite belonging to the same profession, Palak Muchhal has often emphasised that career never became a point of conflict between her and Mithoon. Their professional synergy translated smoothly into their personal lives.

Speaking about their equation, Palak once said:

“But we soon realised that we had to be together; we were made for each other. We are unique in our values and thought processes, and we have very clear priorities in life. If you find a partner whose priorities are as clear as yours, it’s a blessing. He has a heart of gold.”

Palak acknowledged that Mithoon’s understanding of her career priorities played a major role in building mutual respect between them.

In an interview with The Times of India, Mithoon revealed that he felt a strong connection with Palak and decided to involve their families. He shared:

“Even though we have known and collaborated with each other on multiple occasions, there was never any kind of social connect between us. It was only in the last one year that I felt a strong connection. So, I spoke to my parents about it, and soon they spoke to her parents.”

Palak, too, shared that her parents were delighted when Mithoon’s proposal came. While she had always admired him professionally, neither of them had initially imagined a future together beyond work.

Palak Muchhal and Mithoon Sharma’s wedding was a close-knit affair, complete with traditional haldi, mehendi, sangeet, wedding and reception ceremonies attended by close friends and family.

Mithoon later revealed that Palak’s fans in Indore, her hometown, celebrated the news by bursting crackers on the streets. Reflecting on the overwhelming love, he said:

“Though we kept the celebrations low-key, I learnt that in Indore there were people who joined in by bursting crackers. Yeh jo apnapan hai na, agar aapne gairon ko bhi apna hone ka ehsaas de diya, toh phir aapse bada insaan koi ho hi nahi sakta.”

Mithoon also credited Palak for helping him discover new facets of himself and expressed gratitude for the affection he received from Palak’s mother, calling it a blessing.
