Kolkata: Bengali actress and former Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament Nusrat Jahan exercised her voting rights on Saturday during the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections.
The actress arrived at a polling booth located at Abdul Wahid Memorial School in Shikarpur, Kolkata, where she cast her vote amid ongoing electoral activity across West Bengal.
Dressed in traditional Indian attire, Nusrat Jahan was seen interacting with photographers outside the polling station. After completing the voting process, she proudly displayed her ink-marked finger, symbolizing her participation in the democratic process.
The seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections witnessed voters across several constituencies heading to polling booths to elect their representatives. As a public figure and former parliamentarian, Nusrat’s participation drew attention from both media and voters.
