Nupur Sanon Reveals Why She Was Upset With Kriti Sanon During Wedding Prep: ‘Ek Hi Behen Hai Tumhari’

Nupur Sanon has opened up about a stressful moment she shared with sister Kriti Sanon while preparing for her wedding to singer Stebin Ben. Although Kriti was involved in several aspects of the planning, her shooting commitments meant Nupur was left handling a number of responsibilities herself.

Speaking on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s Double Date alongside Stebin, Nupur recalled being briefly upset with her sister during the hectic preparation period. However, she also revealed that Kriti eventually kept her promise to step in and became so hands-on that members of the wedding décor team praised her grounded approach.

Why Nupur Sanon Was Upset With Kriti

According to Nupur, Kriti was involved in important parts of the wedding planning, particularly the décor and food menu. She explained that her sister has a strong eye for such details and was therefore part of those decisions.

“Krits was involved in the décor with me and in what the food menu would be and all because she is really good at all these things,” Nupur said.

However, Kriti was simultaneously busy with a shooting schedule, while Stebin was travelling. This left Nupur managing several wedding-related tasks herself.

“There was a time I was a little upset with her. I was like, ‘Ek hi behen hai tumhari and I was loaded with work,’ because Stebin was travelling, I was doing the décor, food and other stuff,” she recalled.

The comment reflected the pressure Nupur was experiencing rather than a lasting disagreement between the sisters.

Kriti Sanon Reassured Her Sister

Nupur said Kriti understood the situation and reassured her that she would eventually take responsibility for the things that needed attention.

“Kriti had promised me, ‘You don’t have to worry,’ and she said that she would take care of everything,” Nupur recalled.

That reassurance appeared to matter once the wedding celebrations got underway.

Wedding Team Praised Kriti’s Hands-On Approach

After the wedding, members of the décor team reportedly shared their own impression of Kriti with Nupur.

According to Nupur, they were struck by how involved the actress had been during the celebrations and described her as particularly down to earth.

“After the wedding got over, the décor people came and said they haven’t seen anyone so down to earth like Kriti,” Nupur said.

She then shared a small example that captured how involved Kriti had become.

“Kabhi parde sahi kar rahi thi, she was actually like a crew member. And that’s the actual side of Kriti,” Nupur added.

The anecdote offers a glimpse of Kriti away from her public image as an actress, showing her participating in practical wedding details rather than simply attending the celebrations as a guest.

Nupur and Kriti’s Sisterly Bond

Nupur’s story ultimately turned a moment of wedding-related frustration into an affectionate account of her relationship with Kriti.
