She added that the situation changed once viewers had access to the full episode and could understand what had happened beyond the promotional edit.
“Once the episode aired, everyone understood the actual context and supported me,” she said.

Niyati Fatnani on talent versus visibility
The actor also shared her thoughts on another aspect of the entertainment business: the relationship between talent and visibility.
Fatnani sees performance ability and commercial visibility as two different considerations when casting decisions are made.
“If someone is a talented artist and can perform well, directors and producers will choose that person for the role,” she explained.
At the same time, she pointed out that visibility can have a separate value from a business perspective.
“On the other hand, from a business perspective, if visibility benefits a project, influencers may also be cast,” she added.
Her comments reflect the increasingly broad nature of entertainment casting, where traditional acting credentials can coexist with factors such as audience reach, social-media presence and market visibility.
Why context matters in the age of viral clips
Fatnani’s experience is particularly relevant in an environment where short reality-show clips can quickly travel across social media.
A few seconds of footage can generate strong reactions before audiences have seen the episode in which the incident occurred. Once the complete sequence is available, however, viewers may arrive at a different interpretation.
