According to Amy, the man promised her a lavish lifestyle that included a bungalow, a car, 10 acres of land, and a monthly allowance of RM50,000, which converts to approximately Rs 11 lakh per month.

The proposal came during a time when Amy was actively involved in beauty pageants and hosting high-profile corporate events. Through this work, she frequently encountered influential figures who sought her contact information.

One such encounter escalated into the marriage proposal. Amy revealed that the man was roughly the same age as her father. In an earlier media interview conducted in April, she confirmed that the individual held the honorary title of Datuk and that the proposal occurred around 2019, when she was only 23 years old.

At that time, Amy was looking for sponsorships to support her participation in international pageants. She said the Datuk offered financial backing but attached one firm condition: she would have to marry him as his third wife.

Amy refused immediately. Her mother supported the decision without hesitation.

“My mother was very firm. She said she would never sell me off,” Amy recalled.
