Malaika Arora Debuts Fresh Haircut, Says ‘Naya Saal, Naya Baal’

Actress Malaika Arora is welcoming the new year with a fresh change — and she’s clearly loving it. The Bollywood star recently debuted her new haircut, embracing reinvention with her signature confidence and style.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Malaika shared a series of pictures flaunting her shorter, wavy hair. Dressed in an all-black outfit, the actress kept the look sleek and effortless as she posed confidently for the camera.

Sharing her excitement, she captioned the post with a playful note: “Chop chop… naya saal, naya baal.”

The post quickly caught the attention of fans, who flooded the comments section with compliments for her refreshed look.

Earlier, Malaika also made headlines for her heartfelt birthday wishes to her younger sister, Amrita Arora. She shared an adorable picture kissing Amrita and wrote, “Happy birthday my baby sis.”

She later posted a fun lift selfie with her close-knit girl gang, which included Karisma Kapoor, adding, “With our birthday girl… A liftie is a must.”

Amrita Arora, who began her career as an MTV VJ, made her Bollywood debut in 2002 with Kitne Door Kitne Paas. Over the years, she appeared in films such as Awara Paagal Deewana, Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Girlfriend, Speed, Red: The Dark Side, Kambakkht Ishq and Hello. She married businessman Shakeel Ladak in 2009, and the couple has two sons.

Malaika and Amrita are often seen expressing their close bond on social media, frequently sharing candid moments and family celebrations.

Recently, Malaika also reflected on her personal evolution while looking back at the early decades of the 21st century. Speaking to IANS, she shared that her journey has been one of constant reinvention, expanding beyond glamour and dance into fitness, entrepreneurship, and authorship.
