Actor Karishma Tanna has shared heartwarming glimpses from her traditional godh bharai ceremony as she prepares to welcome her first child with husband Varun Bangera.
The couple, who announced their pregnancy last month, posted photos and videos from the intimate celebration on social media, giving fans a closer look at the beautiful South Indian rituals and family traditions that marked the occasion.

In one of the videos shared online, Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera were seen surrounded by close friends and family members during the ceremony. The celebration featured devotional chants of “Har Har Mahadev,” floral decorations and traditional rituals.
Karishma looked elegant in a gold-and-cream saree while participating in the Tulu customs observed during the ceremony.

“Still soaking in the love, blessings, and emotions from our very first South Indian-style Godh Bharai together,” Karishma wrote.
She further spoke about witnessing traditional rituals, mantras, sarees and family customs up close.
“It felt truly magical… almost like living a dream we had only imagined,” she added.
According to Karishma, the ceremony left both her and Varun feeling grateful, emotional and surrounded by love as they prepare for parenthood.

Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera had announced the pregnancy earlier through a maternity photoshoot shared on social media.
The photos featured the couple wearing matching “Mom” and “Dad” caps, while another image showed tiny woollen baby socks. Karishma also proudly flaunted her baby bump in the announcement pictures.
