The Malayalam film industry is mourning the loss of veteran actor and production controller Kannan Pattambi, who passed away late on January 4 at the age of 62 after battling a prolonged kidney-related illness.
According to close family sources, the respected industry professional breathed his last at 11:41 PM at his residence in Njangattiri, Palakkad.
The tragic news was confirmed by his elder brother, renowned filmmaker Major Ravi, who shared an emotional tribute on social media.
