The courtroom comedy Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has minted over ₹65.5 crore nett domestically within just five days of its release, trade sources confirm.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the third instalment reunites the two actors for the first time in the franchise while retaining Kapoor as writer and director. The film also features Seema Biswas, Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, and Amrita Rao in pivotal roles.
Box Office Performance
Jolly LLB 3 opened on Friday with a strong collection of ₹12.5 crore nett. It gained momentum on Saturday and Sunday, raking in ₹20 crore and ₹21 crore nett respectively. Monday saw a dip to ₹5.5 crore, while Tuesday picked up slightly to ₹6.5 crore, bringing the total domestic haul to ₹65.5 crore nett.
According to Sacnilk, the nationwide Hindi occupancy averaged 21.12%, with morning shows at 8.74%, afternoon at 19.26%, and night shows peaking at 34.31%.
