Influencer Haley Baylee has spoken candidly about the emotional strain she is experiencing amid a $75,000 lawsuit filed against her by her former husband, ex-NFL player Matt Kalil.
The former couple, who were married after dating for several years, separated in 2022. While the split was initially described as amicable, tensions escalated after Baylee made comments about Kalil during a livestream, prompting the former athlete to initiate legal action.

According to PEOPLE, Haley Baylee’s legal representatives have strongly contested the lawsuit, describing it as an attempt to set a dangerous legal precedent.
“The claims seek to dramatically expand existing law and establish damaging new precedent by imposing liability on a woman for merely speaking openly and truthfully about a prior relationship,” her legal team stated.
They further added that the case raises serious First Amendment concerns, particularly because it involves two public figures.

Amid the ongoing legal battle, Baylee’s recent comments at the WWD 2026 Style Awards drew renewed public interest. Speaking to E! News, she shared her outlook for the year ahead.
