Mumbai: Farrhana Bhatt’s journey in Bigg Boss 19 was nothing short of a rollercoaster. From being evicted on the first day to returning stronger and finishing as the first runner-up, the actress won hearts with her resilience and honesty. In an exclusive conversation with mid-day, Farrhana candidly reflected on the ups and downs of her time in the house.
First-Day Eviction Hit Hard
Recounting her shocking first-day eviction, Farrhana admitted it was devastating:
“It did, of course, because I came directly from Kashmir, and you are thrown out on the first day. I was like, ‘What will I show my people?’ I had taken such a big decision to join Bigg Boss, and it was heartbreaking to be evicted immediately.”
Heartbreaks and Emotional Challenges
Farrhana revealed that several moments in the house left her emotionally drained.
“There were times I felt completely heartbroken and wanted to leave. The first eviction was the toughest. During Weekend Ka Vaar, especially in the second and eleventh weeks, I felt like I had to go home. Salman Khan’s words sometimes hit me like a bullet when he expressed disappointment.”

Gaurav Khanna’s Victory
Reacting to Gaurav Khanna winning the season, she said:
“Gaurav Khanna won because of his audience support, and I respect that. I didn’t touch the trophy because I don’t touch what I don’t have. I wanted it, but if I didn’t get it, God must have had something better for me.”
Cherished Moments
One of the most memorable moments for Farrhana was when her mother, Afroza Bhatt, entered the Bigg Boss house.
“My dream was to have my mother come inside the Bigg Boss house because of me, and I made it come true.”
Challenges Inside the House
Farrhana also explained her visible weight loss, attributing it to stress and limited food preferences:
“I have a problem with taste and couldn’t eat everything. Even when eating, stress would prevent me from enjoying food. I often felt hungry but couldn’t eat.”
Message to Fans
Closing her exclusive interview, Farrhana expressed gratitude to her fans:
“Thank you so much for supporting me. We didn’t win the trophy, but your love won. This season is Farrhana Bhatt’s season. Your support matters more than any trophy.”
