Fahadh Faasil recently made a light-hearted reference to his wife Nazriya Nazim while speaking about his experience working with young actor Ssara Palekar.
During promotions for his upcoming Telugu film Don’t Trouble The Trouble in Chennai, Fahadh was asked about working with Ssara. While praising the child actor, he jokingly connected the experience to life at home with Nazriya.
“So, I’m married to a child,” Fahadh said.
He then explained the remark, saying, “People ask me, your child management patience is great. So, I said, I have one at home. I’ve been dealing with that. (laughs) But I met a child who dealt with me.”
Fahadh Praises His Young Co-Star Ssara Palekar
Fahadh also spoke appreciatively about Ssara’s confidence on set. According to his comments, the young actor was comfortable correcting him when he got his lines wrong.
He went on to describe Ssara as his favourite co-star, highlighting the impression she made while working together.
His comments about Nazriya came in the context of that conversation and were delivered humorously rather than as a detailed discussion of their marriage.
Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim’s Marriage
Fahadh and Nazriya got married on August 21, 2014, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, after meeting while working on Anjali Menon’s Bangalore Days.
The two played a married couple in the 2014 film, and their relationship later developed off screen. They got engaged before the film’s theatrical release and married later that year in a ceremony attended by family and close friends.
Fahadh was 32 when they married, while Nazriya was 19. Fahadh was born on August 8, 1982, and Nazriya on December 20, 1994.
The couple later reunited professionally in the 2020 film Trance.
Nazriya’s Cryptic Instagram Post Sparked Speculation
Nazriya recently drew attention after sharing a cryptic Instagram post that said, “I used to think bulls were crazy for chasing red flags but here I am.”
The post prompted speculation among some social media users about whether it had anything to do with her marriage to Fahadh. However, there was no confirmation from either actor that the post referred to their relationship.
Another interpretation linked the post to Nazriya’s upcoming project Gracias El Clásico, which appeared to involve filming in Spain.
Neither Fahadh nor Nazriya has publicly confirmed that the Instagram post was related to their marriage.
For now, Fahadh’s latest comments about Nazriya came during a discussion about his young co-star, with the actor using humour to describe his experience of dealing with a “child” at home.
