Exclusive: Khushi Mukherjee Reacts to ‘Rise & Fall’ Rumours, Says She’s Open to the Right Opportunity

Mumbai: Actor Khushi Mukherjee has responded to growing speculation surrounding her reported participation in the upcoming reality show Rise & Fall, saying she remains open to exciting opportunities while stopping short of confirming any involvement.

Although the show’s makers have not officially announced the contestant lineup, Khushi’s name has frequently appeared in media reports and online discussions, leading fans to wonder whether she will be among the contestants.

Khushi Mukherjee Responds to the Buzz

Speaking to The Sunday Guardian, Khushi chose not to confirm or deny the reports but hinted that she would be willing to explore reality television if the right project came along.

“I never say never. Reality shows have always been exciting because they allow people to see the real you. Right now, I’m focused on my work, but if something interesting comes my way, I’ll definitely consider it.”

Her carefully worded response has only fuelled curiosity among fans eagerly waiting for the official announcement from the show’s producers.

The actor has been actively supporting stray dogs and cats by arranging food and medical assistance throughout the month. According to Khushi, nearly 100 to 150 kilograms of food is distributed regularly to help abandoned and injured animals.

She believes caring for animals is a responsibility rather than an act of charity.

“These innocent souls cannot ask for help. They only know that someone will come with food and kindness. I couldn’t let them down, no matter what I was going through.”

Continuing Her Mission Through Health Challenges

Khushi revealed that even after suffering a heart attack followed by a brain stroke last year, she ensured the animals under her care continued receiving food and medical support during her recovery.

Encouraging others to contribute in whatever way they can, she said:

“Not everyone can rescue hundreds of animals, but everyone can help at least one. If each of us takes that small step, together we can create a kinder world.”

Her commitment to animal welfare has become an important part of her public identity alongside her entertainment career.
