MUMBAI, India — Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, just weeks before his 90th birthday on December 8, 2025, leaving a void in the hearts of his family, fans, and admirers. On the milestone that would have marked his nonagenarian celebration, his daughter Esha Deol took to social media to share an emotional tribute.
Esha’s message reflected the depth of her bond with her father:
“To my darling Papa. Our pact, the strongest bond. ‘Us’ through all our lifetimes, all the realms and beyond… We are always together, Papa. Be it heaven or earth. We are one. For now, I have very tenderly, carefully and preciously tucked you in my heart… deep, deep inside to carry on with me for the rest of this lifetime.”

In her note, Esha recounted precious memories and life lessons imparted by Dharmendra:
“The magical, precious memories… life lessons, the teachings, the guidance, the warmth, the unconditional love, the dignity and the strength you have given me as your daughter cannot be replaced or matched by any other. About Dharmendra’s Passing
Dharmendra’s health had been a matter of concern in the months prior to his demise. In November 2025, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, and his family initially confirmed he was recovering. Tragically, on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89, he passed away at his residence in Juhu. The cremation took place at Pawan Hans Crematorium, attended only by close family and friends.
