The vibrant spirit of Durga Puja 2025 in Mumbai reached its peak as Bollywood star Kajol participated in the traditional Sindoor Khela ceremony at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal. The actor, joined by her daughter Nysa Devgan, sister Tanisha Mukerji, and family members, carried forward a tradition the Devgan-Mukerji family has upheld for decades.
Kajol and Nysa in Festive Spirit
Dressed in a classic white-and-red saree, Kajol looked radiant as she performed the age-old ritual of applying vermillion (sindoor) to Goddess Durga before bidding farewell to the deity on Vijayadashami.
Her daughter Nysa also participated, marking a generational continuation of the family’s devotion. The duo posed for heartwarming family photographs alongside Tanisha.
