“This is to address an issue that aired on The 50 episode last night and has been escalating ever since. What was said and done was deeply uncalled for and unethical. Repeatedly claiming ‘I won’t say anything’ and then continuing to push baseless personal narratives only exposes intent, not truth,” the statement read.

The team emphasised that The 50 is meant to test strength, strategy and mental resilience, not serve as a platform for personal attacks.

The statement further said that dragging someone’s personal life into a competitive show reflects more on the person making such remarks than on the one being targeted.

“Divya has always stood for dignity, loyalty and genuine friendships, and those who truly know her know exactly where she stands,” the note added.

Addressing comments made about Divya’s social habits, the team clarified that her tendency to invite people over or host gatherings reflects her warm and welcoming nature.

“Twisting this into a narrative of loneliness or emotional dependency is not only false but deeply unfair. Creating such assumptions says far more about the mindset behind the narrative than about Divya herself,” the statement said.

It concluded by stating that attempts to misrepresent Divya’s intentions would not define her strength, grace or self-worth.
