Television star Dipika Kakar has successfully battled stage 2 liver cancer and is now officially cancer-free, her husband Shoaib Ibrahim announced recently. The couple opened up about the challenging months during her treatment in a heartfelt conversation on Rashami Desai’s podcast, detailing the emotional and physical hurdles they faced.

The operation extended longer than expected, causing anxiety to build. Shoaib revealed, “The doctor subsequently told me that Dipika had been under anesthesia for an extended period and, for her safety, they might have to place her on a ventilator. I was scared, yet I instructed them to take any required actions.”
Fortunately, Dipika’s resilience and determination shone through. Shoaib shared, “She recovered with remarkable resilience. Today, I can confidently say she is free of cancer, though some treatments are still underway. I feel immense pride in her perseverance throughout this struggle.”
