Mumbai | October 27, 2025 — Actress Diana Penty’s century-old Mumbai home has become the talk of the town after filmmaker Farah Khan gave fans a peek inside the stunning property. With its vintage charm, sprawling layout, and priceless furniture, the house feels like a slice of colonial-era elegance preserved in the heart of Mumbai.
A Heritage Home With Timeless Charm
During her visit, Farah Khan — accompanied by her longtime cook, Dilip — was visibly awestruck the moment she stepped into Diana’s home. “This is a huge Buckingham Palace. I’ve brought you to London!” she exclaimed while walking through the grand entrance of the two-storey residence.
Built over a century ago, the property once belonged to Diana Penty’s great-grandfather. From wooden staircases and high ceilings to floor-to-ceiling windows and ornate doors, the home radiates vintage Parsi-style architecture rarely seen today.
Diana greeted Farah warmly, joking, “Upstairs is me, and downstairs is we,” referring to her family. She revealed that the ground floor houses her mother’s kitchen — the heart of the home.

Farah, filming for her YouTube vlog, couldn’t stop marveling at the décor. “Please give me a house tour! I feel like I’ve traveled back in time and arrived at a colonial home,” she said in awe.
When Farah spotted a carved wooden table with an attached mirror, she asked how old it was. Diana’s mother replied, “Over 100 years old.” To which Farah quipped, “This is older than me! I’m happy to be in a place where things are older than me.”
As they moved to the kitchen, Farah gasped, “Wow! Look at this kitchen — it’s amazing.” Even Dilip, Farah’s cook, chimed in shyly, “No ma’am, never seen a house this beautiful.”
A Farm, a Family Legacy, and Vintage Treasures
Diana revealed that her home also features a small farm area, surprising Farah, who said, “This doesn’t feel like Mumbai at all!”
The actress proudly shared that she is the fourth generation of her family living in the house. “Since my great-grandfather’s time — exactly 100 years ago,” she said.
