For the announcement of her upcoming Netflix original series Operation Safed Sagar, Dia Mirza turned to one of her trusted labels, Anavila, choosing an elegant ivory-and-gold handwoven linen sari. Rooted in traditional weaving yet unmistakably contemporary, the look stood out for its refined detailing and quiet sophistication.
“I chose to wear a conscious celebration of the quiet strength, integrity and inner resolve that Kamal in Operation Safed Sagar embodies,” Mirza shared. Designer Anavila Misra described the ensemble as the Seher Natural sari from the brand’s Prelude to Festive collection. “Handwoven in natural linen, the sari features gentle ivory and gold stripes, finished with delicate lace and handwoven zari. It carries a timeless, old-world festive charm, reimagined with a modern sensibility,” she said.
The sari’s lace-edged border adds softness to the drape, while subtle handwoven zari accents introduce a restrained shimmer. Paired with a modest gold blouse, the look struck a fine balance between tradition and modern restraint.

Mirza wore a layered pearl necklace by Tribe Amrapali, matching jhumkas with a chandbali silhouette, a pair of kadas, and a statement ring. Her beauty look followed the same understated philosophy: softly curled hair, a dewy base, kohled eyes and nude lips that kept the focus on texture and glow.
