Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge has taken the box office by storm even before its release, crossing the Rs. 100 crore worldwide advance mark. As of Saturday, global pre-sales stand at approximately Rs. 101 crore, with Rs. 44 crore from India and Rs. 57 crore (USD 6.15 million) from overseas markets.
The film is proving especially popular abroad, rewriting records for pre-sales in multiple countries. Canada set a record days ago, and Australia has now surpassed the previous benchmark set by Baahubali: The Conclusion, grossing AUD 1.05 million. In terms of tickets sold, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has also overtaken Baahubali, becoming the biggest pre-seller in Indian cinema history.
With demand soaring, many overseas theatres are already hitting capacity, prompting exhibitors to consider adding additional shows. Pre-sale estimates indicate the film will surpass USD 4 million, with the potential to reach USD 5 million.
If the momentum continues, the worldwide gross could easily cross Rs. 150 crore, with the possibility of touching Rs. 200 crore, especially if the film manages Rs. 100 crore nett in India. This would place Dhurandhar: The Revenge alongside films like Pushpa 2, Leo, and RRR in terms of pre-sale records — but it could be the first to achieve this milestone definitively.
