Dharmendra Discharged from Hospital, Continues Recovery at Home; Family Issues Statement

MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai, and is now recovering at home. The actor’s health scare over the past few days had sparked concern among fans, fueled by unfounded rumours about his demise circulating on social media.

In an official statement, Dharmendra’s family requested privacy during his recovery and thanked fans for their support:

“Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”

Dr Pratit Samdani confirmed to PTI, “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7.30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to give him treatment at home.”

Background on Recent Health Scare

Dharmendra was initially admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on October 31, 2025, after experiencing breathing difficulties. Rumours about his condition began circulating on November 1, with fresh reports on November 10 claiming he had been rushed to the hospital again.

Both Hema Malini and Esha Deol used their official social media handles to deny false reports of his demise and reassured fans that Dharmendra was recovering well.

The family’s statement aims to put an end to speculation and ensure that the veteran actor can continue his recuperation in peace.
