A bride in Delhi was overcome with emotion after her childhood caregiver surprised her during her wedding preparations. The heartwarming moment, captured on video, has since resonated widely across social media.
Content creator Ridhi Kapur shared the clip on Instagram, filmed and edited by Shaadi BTS. The video features an on-screen line that reads, “From taking care of me as a child to watching me get married.”
In the footage, Kapur is seen getting ready for her big day when her longtime caregiver, whom she lovingly calls “Amma,” walks into the room. The bride’s face lights up instantly before she rushes forward to embrace her. Moments later, she breaks into tears.
The elderly caregiver appears just as emotional, holding Kapur close and repeatedly complimenting her appearance. Through tears, the bride can be heard saying, “You came, I can’t believe you came.
