Deepika Padukone Linked to The White Lotus Season 4 After Pregnancy Break: Report

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is once again being linked to the globally acclaimed HBO series The White Lotus — this time for its upcoming fourth season. After earlier speculation in 2024 connected her to season 3, fresh reports now indicate that her much-anticipated international television debut could happen a season later.

Latest Report Suggests Season 4 Entry

As per a recent report by Deccan Chronicle, Deepika is expected to join the ensemble cast of The White Lotus season 4 later this year. However, there has been no official confirmation from HBO or the show’s creators, and details regarding her character are currently undisclosed.

The report further states that filming for the new season is likely to take place in France. Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez has reportedly been selected as a primary shooting location. Production is said to be scheduled between April and October 2026.

HBO recently announced several additions to the season 4 cast, including Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, Steve Coogan, Alexander Ludwig and Sandra Bernhard, among others. The anthology drama is known for assembling high-profile international talent each season.

Earlier Season 3 Buzz

This is not the first time Deepika’s name has surfaced in connection with the Emmy-winning series. In 2024, strong industry rumours suggested she might appear in season 3 alongside Lisa. Speculation intensified after a social media interaction from a family member of her husband, Ranveer Singh, drew attention online.

While promoting Fighter, Deepika was asked about the rumours during a press interaction. Director Siddharth Anand jokingly referenced possible scheduling overlaps. The actress responded playfully but did not confirm any involvement.

Later, a report by Times Now claimed that Deepika had declined an international series at the time to prioritise her pregnancy and focus on motherhood. According to the report, she had not signed new projects during that period.

With season 4 currently in development, industry chatter around Deepika Padukone’s potential global television debut has resurfaced. However, until HBO or the actress makes an official announcement, her association with The White Lotus remains speculative.
