Actor Beanie Feldstein is stepping into the world of children’s literature with the upcoming release of her debut book, Teeny and Tilly, scheduled for publication on May 19, 2026.
The illustrated children’s book, featuring artwork by Laura Watkins, will be published by Philomel, an imprint of Penguin Random House. The story centers on friendship, self-confidence, and overcoming fears in a new environment.
According to the official synopsis, the story follows Teeny, a young student nervous about attending a new school after previously being teased for being the smallest child in class. Her worries continue when she meets Tilly, a much taller classmate. With support from the classroom pet and newfound courage, Teeny begins discovering the value of friendship and acceptance.
Editor Talia Benamy praised the project, saying the book delivers warmth, kindness, and emotional depth through memorable characters and vibrant illustrations.

Beyond acting and writing, Feldstein also supports children through nonprofit work. She currently serves on the board of Experience Camps, an organization that offers free camp experiences for children grieving the loss of an immediate family member.
