Mumbai: Ashnoor Kaur faced a sudden eviction from Bigg Boss 19 following the controversial ‘Ticket to Finale’ task, during which she allegedly hurt co-contestant Tanya Mittal. Host Salman Khan reportedly asked Ashnoor to leave the house immediately. In an exclusive interview, the actress opened up about her eviction and her perspective on the incident.
Disappointment Over Sudden Eviction
Reflecting on her abrupt exit, Ashnoor said, “I feel extremely disappointed and dejected. I was so close to the finale, and suddenly my dream was shattered. It all happened so quickly, and I am still trying to process why my journey ended this way.”
She added, “There were several serious incidents this season where no action was taken, yet when it came to me, I was shown the door.”
On the Incident with Tanya Mittal
Ashnoor explained the circumstances leading to the controversy: “It was a task, and the plank was extremely heavy. My shoulders were hurting badly, and I was bent over in the third round. As soon as the task ended, I removed the plank and threw it down. At that moment, I didn’t even realize Tanya got hurt.”

Denial of Intentional Harm
Ashnoor strongly denied hurting Tanya deliberately. She commented on Gaurav Khanna’s role in the situation: “Gaurav never told me Tanya was actually hurt. He only said, ‘You hit her,’ which I denied because I knew I hadn’t. Later, I found out he gave Tanya ointment without telling me. I felt betrayed. If he was really concerned, he should have informed me right away.”
Observations on House Dynamics
Ashnoor also spoke about the behaviour of other contestants, naming Tanya and Shehbaz as people who speak behind others’ backs. “Even when my father visited, they spoke against him. This shows a weakness in their character—they don’t have the courage to say things openly,” she said.
Moving Forward
Despite the unexpected exit, Ashnoor expressed determination to stay true to herself. “I didn’t go into the house to stay in anyone’s shadow. I played the game my way, and that’s what matters,” she concluded.
