Arifin Shuvoo and Oishee Spark Romance Rumours Ahead of ‘Noor’ OTT Release

Arifin Shuvoo and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee have once again found themselves at the centre of romance speculation after sharing seemingly affectionate posts about each other on social media.

The posts appeared almost simultaneously on Tuesday, prompting fans to speculate about a possible relationship between the two actors. Some social-media users went even further, suggesting that the pair might have secretly married.

However, Shuvoo has dismissed the speculation, describing Oishee as a good colleague and pointing to their professional relationship.

Shuvoo Dismisses Relationship Speculation

Rumours linking Shuvoo and Oishee have circulated for some time, particularly after the two actors worked together on multiple projects.

The speculation intensified following their latest Facebook posts. Shuvoo shared a photograph of Oishee alongside the caption, “I love you so much and I will tell you how many times,” while Oishee posted a picture of Shuvoo with the message, “If you are hurt once, I will die a hundred times.”

The romantic-sounding wording quickly caught the attention of fans.

Shuvoo, however, rejected the idea that the posts indicated a romantic relationship.

“Oishee is just a good colleague of mine. We have acted in several films together. Why do these rumours come up?” he said.

As a result, there is currently no confirmation from either actor that they are in a romantic relationship.

Social Media Posts Linked to ‘Noor’ Promotion

The timing of the posts is significant because Shuvoo and Oishee are currently promoting their upcoming film ‘Noor’.

The two actors recently took part in a promotional photoshoot for the film, and the pictures were released on the same day as their social-media posts.

This has led to suggestions that the apparently romantic exchanges may have been part of the promotional strategy for Noor, rather than an indication of the actors’ personal relationship.

The film has already attracted considerable attention because of its long journey from production to release.

Why ‘Noor’ Is Heading to OTT

Noor was originally produced under Shapla Media, with filming completed some time ago. Although the film received censor approval in 2022, its theatrical release did not materialise.

In June 2024, production company Quiet and Set acquired the project and began working on plans for its eventual release.

Following discussions involving the director, actors and producers, the team ultimately decided to release the film through the Bioscope platform rather than pursue a theatrical run.

The actors had reportedly initially favoured a cinema release but later agreed to the OTT route.

Raihan Rafi Explains the Decision

Director Raihan Rafi said the decision was based on his assessment of where the film would work best.

After revisiting the completed film, he felt that an OTT release would provide a more suitable viewing experience for Noor.

“After watching Noor, which was shot some time ago, I felt the OTT platform would suit it better. The audience will also have a good experience. There’s no other special reason,” Rafi explained.

The film is therefore entering its release phase after several years of uncertainty, with the promotional campaign now bringing Shuvoo and Oishee back into the spotlight.

‘Noor’ Gets Attention Before Its Release

The renewed discussion around Shuvoo and Oishee demonstrates how quickly promotional social-media activity can fuel speculation around celebrity relationships.

While fans have interpreted the actors’ posts in different ways, Shuvoo’s latest comments make his position clear: he considers Oishee a professional colleague, and there has been no public confirmation of a romantic relationship between them.
