Actress Anupama Parameswaran — who recently appeared in Bison and The Pet Detective — has revealed that she was subjected to an organised wave of online targeting, false claims, and personal attacks via multiple Instagram accounts over the past few days.
At first, the actress assumed it was routine trolling. However, as the frequency and intensity of the posts increased, she sensed deliberate targeting.
Tamil Nadu woman found behind fake accounts
A detailed check revealed that the source was a 20-year-old woman from Tamil Nadu who had created multiple fake profiles specifically to target the actress. Anupama then approached the Kerala Cyber Crime wing, which quickly identified the individual and initiated action.
