Anne Hathaway’s Sons Make Rare Public Appearance as Actress Celebrates Disney Legends Honor

Anne Hathaway had a particularly memorable weekend as she celebrated one of the biggest honours of her career with her family by her side.

The 43-year-old actor was named a Disney Legend at the 2026 Disney Legends Awards, where she was joined by her husband, Adam Shulman, and their two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, six.

The family appearance was especially notable because Hathaway and Shulman have generally kept their children away from the public spotlight. Their appearance at the ceremony marked a rare high-profile outing for the boys.

Despite their mother’s new Disney honour, Hathaway joked that her children were not particularly impressed by her newly acquired “legend” status.

She joked that her children are more likely to ask her to make a snack, clean out a backpack or throw a football than celebrate her career accomplishments.

Hathaway said her sons were particularly excited about meeting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who was also among the stars connected to the Disney Legends celebration.
