As Bhooth Bangla prepares for its release, Akshay Kumar has shared an emotional note remembering veteran actor Asrani, adding a heartfelt dimension to the film’s promotions.
The actor posted a monochrome behind-the-scenes image showing the two sitting together, focused on their scripts. Reflecting on their long association, Akshay Kumar said they had worked together in over a dozen films, describing each collaboration as a valuable learning experience.
He noted that working with Asrani felt like attending a “masterclass,” especially when it came to comedy. According to Akshay, comic timing may appear effortless on screen, but it demands precision and deep understanding—qualities he consistently observed in Asrani’s performances.

The project features an ensemble cast including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Asrani. Initially scheduled for a later release, the film is now set to arrive in theatres on April 16, 2026, with paid previews generating early buzz.
