Punjabi singer Afsana Khan has officially shifted her base to Mumbai following the strong response to her recent work in the Dhurandhar project. The singer has moved to the city along with her husband, fellow artist Saajz Sharma, as she focuses on expanding her presence in the Hindi entertainment industry.
The couple has purchased a 2-BHK apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri West–Lokhandwala area. At present, they are staying in a rented home while the interiors of their new residence are being completed. According to Afsana, the final move is expected within a month once the setup work is finished.
Speaking about the relocation, Afsana explained that her decision was driven primarily by professional commitments. With most of her recordings, meetings, and shoots now based in Mumbai, she felt it was practical to be closer to the industry hub.
She also shared that settling in Mumbai had been a long-term aspiration. As opportunities increased over time, the decision became more natural and necessary for her career growth.

The singer further added that she prefers working selectively, choosing projects that align with her creative instincts rather than taking up every offer. Following the success of Dhurandhar, she has reportedly received multiple new music and performance opportunities, along with upcoming tour plans.
Afsana Khan, known for popular tracks such as Titliaan and collaborations in Punjabi music, first gained recognition through Voice of Punjab Season 3. She later appeared in Rising Star Season 1, and expanded her reach with her participation in Bigg Boss 15.
She married singer Saajz Sharma in 2022, and the couple has since worked closely while continuing their respective music careers. With this Mumbai shift, Afsana aims to strengthen her foothold in Bollywood while maintaining her roots in Punjabi music.
