Actor Adah Sharma is currently focusing her energies beyond cinema, taking an active role in a nationwide anti-drug initiative under the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign. The actress has begun the drive from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where she serves as the face of the awareness movement.

Speaking exclusively, Adah confirmed her involvement in the campaign, which promotes a strong “Say No to Drugs” message across India. The initiative officially commenced in Indore and is expected to expand across multiple cities as part of the broader national mission against substance abuse.

“I’m the face of this anti-drug campaign — a Say No to Drugs, Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign that is starting in India. We began it with Madhya Pradesh, in Indore,” Adah shared.

Balancing Advocacy and Cinema

Despite her packed schedule with campaign commitments and travel — including recent visits to Pune and Indore — Adah is also making time for films, albeit patiently.

The actress revealed that she has been waiting to watch the recently released film Dunki, choosing to delay it so she can experience it with a close friend.

“I really want to watch it. I told my friend to wait so we can go together. She keeps asking me when to book the tickets, but I said we’ll watch it together. I’ll be watching it very soon,” she said.

Her comments reflect a brief pause from personal plans as she prioritises her advocacy commitments and professional responsibilities.
