Content creator Yukta Sethi shared how she spent over ₹4 lakh in February, with most of the money going into investments.

A South Delhi-based content creator has sparked conversation online after revealing how she spent more than ₹4 lakh in a single month. In a recent video, Yukta Sethi shared a detailed breakdown of her February expenses, explaining that a large portion of the amount went into financial investments.

Sethi said she manages two sources of income. According to her profile on LinkedIn, she holds a degree in Finance and Marketing and works as an associate at an education consulting firm. Alongside her job, she also earns through content creation.

In the video posted on Instagram, she introduced the breakdown by saying, “Here’s how much I spent in February as a South Delhi girl with two income streams.”

Travel and Shopping Expenses

Sethi explained that her first expense category was travel, which totalled around ₹21,000. She pointed out that the amount was relatively low considering she travelled to Vietnam, Mumbai and Alibaug during the month.

According to her, the costs remained limited because she visited Vietnam with her parents, who covered most of the trip expenses.

Shopping was another major expense. Sethi revealed that she spent ₹60,000 on shopping in February, with ₹30,000 spent at a Mumbai-based store called Style Junkie.

Majority of Spending Went Into Investments

The largest portion of her spending went into investments. Sethi said she invested approximately ₹2.8 lakh during February.

In an earlier video, the creator mentioned that her portfolio includes financial instruments such as mutual funds and fixed deposits, suggesting a long-term approach to saving and investing.

Dining, Coffee and Content Creation Costs

Apart from investments and shopping, Sethi outlined several everyday expenses.

“Coffee was not much because I was travelling so much,” she said.

Sethi also spent ₹17,000 on maintaining her Instagram page @yuks.explores, which included editing services and backend production costs.
