Pooja Bedi reflected on her experience while filming the fantasy-action drama Shakti (2011), in which she played the wife of Sonu Sood with a negative character arc. During the shoot, a scene required her character to engage in a fight sequence with the hero, Jr NTR.
However, Jr NTR respectfully refused to perform the action scene. “I can’t fight with a woman,” he told the team, maintaining a calm and firm stance. Pooja explained that his gesture greatly increased her admiration for him, both as an actor and as a person. She emphasized that such values are rare in a competitive film industry, and moments like these leave a lasting impression beyond on-screen heroics.
