Reports further claim that Sangeetha alleged Vijay had been involved in an extramarital relationship with a female actor, which she reportedly became aware of in 2021. The matter is said to be currently under legal consideration.

Shortly after the petition surfaced online, Vijay was seen attending a wedding with actress Trisha Krishnan, leading to further speculation among fans about their relationship.
