Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has once again secured a spot on the prestigious Hurun Global Rich List, strengthening his reputation not only as one of cinema’s biggest icons but also as a successful entrepreneur.
According to the latest ranking released on March 5, Shah Rukh Khan’s net worth is estimated at USD 1.3 billion (around ₹10,800 crore). The wealth assessment for the list was calculated up to January 15.
The report highlights the global distribution of billionaires, with China leading with 1,110 billionaires, followed by the United States with 1,000, while India ranks third with 308 billionaires.
Global celebrities on the list
Several global entertainment and sports icons also feature on the rich list. Among them are music superstars like Jay-Z with an estimated USD 2.8 billion, Taylor Swift with USD 1.6 billion, and Rihanna with USD 1.5 billion.

Slight dip from last year
Although Shah Rukh Khan continues to feature among the world’s wealthiest entertainers, his net worth has slightly declined compared to the previous year.
In 2025, his wealth was estimated at ₹12,490 crore (around USD 1.4 billion). At that time, his fortune had briefly surpassed that of Taylor Swift, whose wealth was approximately USD 1.3 billion. In the latest ranking, however, Swift has moved ahead of the Bollywood star.
Namit Malhotra makes debut
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, film producer Namit Malhotra has also entered the Hurun list for the first time. Known for backing the upcoming epic Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, Malhotra debuted with an estimated wealth of USD 1 billion (around ₹9,204 crore).
India’s richest individuals
Meanwhile, business tycoon Mukesh Ambani continues to hold the title of India’s richest person, with an estimated fortune of ₹9.8 lakh crore, placing him 17th globally.

Upcoming film project
