Mumbai: After a year of romantic hits in 2025, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh is looking forward to more challenging and diverse roles in the coming years. Following her performances in Mere Husband Ki Biwi and De De Pyaar De 2, Rakul expressed a desire to collaborate with actors and filmmakers she hasn’t yet worked with, including Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

In an exclusive chat with Zoom, Rakul opened up about her aspirations. “My endeavour next is to be able to find scripts that are equally challenging so that I don’t disappoint my audiences. I’d like to work with everyone I’ve not worked with,” she said.
She continued, “There’s Ranveer who I’m a fan of, whom I’ve not worked with. I’d love to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, sir, of course. I’d love to work with Shah Rukh sir. There are just so many people I’d love to work with. And more than that, I’d just love to work with as many people, whoever I’ve not worked with.”
Recent Work: Rom-Coms and Remakes
Rakul reprised her role as Ayesha Khurrana in the rom-com De De Pyaar De 2, alongside Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Meezaan Jafri. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film follows Ashish (Devgn) navigating love and family dynamics, highlighting Rakul’s flair for contemporary rom-coms.
