She even slapped the driver, making it clear she would not risk her daughter’s safety. Priyanka recalled her mother asserting that she was travelling with her teenage daughter and would not tolerate any deviation.

The actress admitted she had never seen that side of her mother before. The intensity of the moment stunned her. She later joked that she did not argue with her mother for months afterward.

However, once they safely reached the hotel, Priyanka noticed that her mother was trembling — a sign that the situation had shaken her deeply. She believes her mother’s strong reaction was driven entirely by protective instinct.
