Cause of Death Remains Under Investigation
Presley Gerber died on September 20 during a stay at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica, California, according to the supplied report.
His death had been reported as a suspected overdose, with authorities continuing to investigate. However, the death certificate reportedly lists the cause as pending investigation.

He stepped away from parts of the modeling industry in the late 2010s while dealing with those issues. In a 2023 appearance on the Studio 22 Podcast, he discussed wanting to use his experiences to help other people dealing with similar difficulties.
“That’s what I really want to do — help people get out of whether you’re depressed [or] struggling with something that’s having a negative effect on your body,” Presley said at the time.
He added that he hoped other people could learn from the mistakes he had made.
“What I hope I can do is have made the mistakes for some other people, so they don’t have to make the same mistakes that I made,” he said.
