Anne Hathaway brought plenty of glamour to the New York premiere of Verity, showcasing her evolving maternity style in a dramatic black embellished gown.
The 43-year-old actress attended the Amazon MGM Studios premiere at AMC Lincoln Square, where she stepped onto the red carpet in a strapless creation from Prabal Gurung’s Atelier collection.
Anne Hathaway’s Glittering Maternity Look
Styled by Erin Walsh, Anne’s black lace gown featured a strapless sweetheart neckline and a figure-skimming mermaid silhouette.
The dress was decorated with intricate sequins and ruched detailing, creating a shimmering effect across the ensemble. A glittering cape added another dramatic layer to the look while complementing the gown’s embellished finish.
Anne accessorised with a diamond bracelet and delicate drop earrings, allowing the statement dress and cape to remain the centrepieces of her appearance.
Her brunette hair was styled half-up with softly waved lengths, while her makeup featured a smoky eye and nude lipstick.
The actress’ latest red-carpet appearance once again demonstrated how she has incorporated formal glamour into her maternity wardrobe.
Anne Hathaway’s Verity Premiere Comes During Her Third Pregnancy
Anne announced that she was expecting her third child on June 19.
In the announcement shared on social media, the actress appeared in a flowing white dress before revealing her baby bump with a smile. The video was accompanied by Barbara Lewis’ song “Baby I’m Yours”, which also inspired the caption.
“X Baby, I’m yours x,” Anne wrote alongside the announcement.
Anne married actor and producer Adam Shulman in 2012. The couple welcomed their first son, Jonathan, in 2016, followed by their second son, Jack, in 2019.
The actress has generally kept her children away from the public spotlight.
Anne Hathaway’s Maternity Style So Far
The Verity premiere is not the first time Anne has embraced glamorous maternity dressing during her latest pregnancy.
At the Bulgari Serpenti Infinito event in New York City on September 9, she wore a lilac Alexander McQueen gown crafted from chiffon-silk.
The strapless dress featured a flowing silhouette that draped around her growing bump. She paired the soft-toned gown with Bulgari jewellery, including a diamond-encrusted choker featuring a rich purple gemstone, stacked diamond bracelets and a statement ring.

The premiere also marked a major promotional moment for Anne’s latest film, Verity.
Based on Colleen Hoover’s psychological thriller, the film stars Dakota Johnson as a struggling writer who is hired to ghostwrite for renowned author Verity Crawford, played by Hathaway.
The story takes a darker turn as the writer discovers disturbing secrets connected to Verity.
HELLO!’s TV & Film Editor Nicky Morris described the film as another major screen adaptation following It Ends with Us.
“Expectations are high among fans of the seductive psychological thriller, which stars Dakota Johnson as a struggling writer hired to ghostwrite for renowned author Verity Crawford (played by Anne Hathaway), only to uncover dark, terrifying, and deeply disturbing secrets,” Morris said.
She also noted director Michael Showalter’s inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock’s work and the connection to Dakota Johnson’s grandmother, Tippi Hedren, who starred in Hitchcock’s The Birds and Marnie.

While Anne continues to promote Verity, her latest pregnancy has also placed her personal life in the spotlight.
