If finalized, the drama will bring together a cast led by characters whose personal lives intersect through an amateur baseball league.
Jeon Hye Jin Is Reviewing Sunny Baseball Club Offer
According to the supplied report, HODU&U Entertainment, Jeon Hye Jin’s agency, confirmed that the actress had received an offer for Sunny Baseball Club.
The agency stated, “Jeon Hye Jin has received an offer to star in the new drama Sunny Baseball Club and is currently reviewing it.”
Jeon Hye Jin is reportedly being considered for the role of the wife of a character played by Oh Jung Se, who is also said to be in discussions for the drama.
The project is expected to focus on the lives of married men who participate in amateur baseball leagues, bringing their personal relationships and everyday challenges into the story.
Joo Hyun Young Reportedly in Talks for Newlywed Role
Joo Hyun Young is also reportedly in discussions to join Sunny Baseball Club.
Her agency had not issued a response to the casting reports at the time of the supplied information, so her participation remains unconfirmed.

The character could provide another perspective on marriage and relationships within the drama’s amateur baseball setting.
What Is Sunny Baseball Club About?
Sunny Baseball Club reportedly revolves around married men participating in amateur baseball leagues and the challenges they encounter both on and off the field.
Rather than focusing solely on baseball, the drama is expected to explore the characters’ personal lives, relationships and experiences as they balance their sporting activities with family responsibilities.
The reported casting of Jeon Hye Jin as a wife and Joo Hyun Young as a newlywed suggests that marriage and relationships will form an important part of the story.
However, detailed plot information has yet to be officially revealed.

Sunny Baseball Club marks another project for director Min Jin Ki, who is known for the New Recruit series and Salon de Holmes.
The screenplay is being written by Yoon Ki Young, who previously worked with Min Jin Ki on New Recruit 3 and New Recruit 4.
Their previous collaboration makes Sunny Baseball Club another project that brings the director and writer together.
When Will Sunny Baseball Club Release?
The drama is reportedly being planned as a TVING original series, with a 2027 premiere currently expected.
However, details such as the exact release date, complete cast and production schedule have not been officially announced based on the information available for this report.
The casting process is still underway, meaning the final lineup could change before production begins.
