Artist Aarti Khetarpal brought the devotional spirit of Vrindavan to the Cannes Film Festival 2026 with a spiritually inspired red carpet appearance that blended Indian tradition, fashion and faith.
For her Cannes outing, Aarti wore a custom-designed Vrindavan lehenga created by designer Sulakshana Monga. The ensemble was paired with symbolic accessories including a chanting bag featuring an artwork of Lord Krishna, a tulsi kanthi mala, and traditional polki jewellery.
Adding to the spiritual theme, the artist also carried a small copy of the Bhagavad Gita during her appearance on the red carpet.

Sharing photos from the event on Instagram, Aarti described her appearance as a tribute to Sanatana Dharma and Vaishnav traditions. She expressed gratitude toward spiritual teachers, saints and those who continue preserving Vedic literature and devotional practices.

Aarti Khetarpal was previously featured on the album Sounds of Kumbha, which received a nomination at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Earlier this year, she similarly incorporated devotional symbolism into her Grammy appearance. At the event, she wore a necklace featuring Laddoo Gopal, a form of Baby Krishna, designed as part of her spiritual representation.
Explaining the concept behind the jewellery, Aarti shared that the necklace was carefully designed with cushioning and silk threads to ensure the idol remained secure and respectfully placed during the awards ceremony.
