Nita Ambani brought a regal touch to Janmashtami celebrations with a soft powder blue Bandhani saree styled with elaborate jewellery, traditional Gujarati draping and a classic festive beauty look.

The ensemble, shared on social media by celebrity hairstylist Ritika Kadam, combined the delicate charm of baby blue with intricate gold detailing and colourful accents. From the embroidered border and multihued tassels to the emerald and pink diamond jewellery, every element added to the celebratory mood.

Nita Ambani’s Powder Blue Bandhani Saree

For the occasion, Nita Ambani chose a baby-blue Bandhani saree featuring an intricately embroidered gold zari border.

The border incorporated subtle touches of pink and green, while multicoloured tassels added movement and vibrancy to the otherwise serene palette.

She paired the saree with a matching blue blouse featuring a scoop neckline. Gold patti embroidery and sequins decorated the blouse, giving the traditional silhouette a more ornate finish.

Nita draped the pallu in the traditional Gujarati style, reinforcing the regional character of the ensemble.

Emeralds and Pink Diamonds Complete the Look

The jewellery was equally elaborate.

Nita accessorised the saree with a heavy neckpiece featuring emeralds and pink diamonds, along with matching earrings, bangles and statement rings.

A pink diamond hair accessory from her personal collection added another luxurious detail to the styling.

Rather than introducing a separate colour palette through her accessories, the jewellery picked up the pink and green accents already present in the saree, helping the overall look remain cohesive.

The Beauty Look Stays Classic

Nita’s hair and makeup were designed to complement the ornate traditional outfit without taking attention away from the saree and jewellery.

Her hair was parted in the centre, pulled back into a neat bun and decorated with pink flowers. The floral detail echoed the pink accents in the saree and jewellery.

Celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor completed the look with kohl-rimmed eyes, winged eyeliner, defined brows, a glossy lip and softly blushed cheeks.

The result was a polished festive beauty look that balanced traditional Indian styling with a refined finish.

Ritika Kadam Shares Nita Ambani’s Janmashtami Look

Celebrity hairstylist Ritika Kadam shared a reel featuring Nita Ambani’s Janmashtami appearance on social media.

In her caption, she wrote, “Janmashtami Celebrations 🩵🙏🏻 Here to celebrate the most beautiful day ~ with Mrs. Nita Ambani looking ethereal at the core of it all.”

The post offered a closer look at the combination of the powder blue saree, floral hair styling and elaborate jewellery.

Nita Ambani’s Krishna-Inspired Fashion

Nita Ambani has previously incorporated Lord Krishna-inspired elements into her festive wardrobe.

For an earlier puja at home, she wore a soft ivory saree featuring hand embroidery in antique gold and silver zari. The fabric incorporated Krishna motifs, including depictions of the deity accompanied by two cows.

Blue and purple details on the embroidered figures created contrast against the muted metallic work, while a light peach-toned border added warmth to the ivory base.

She paired the saree with a blouse in complementary shades and coral-peach tassels.

Another Take on Traditional Drape

Unlike the Gujarati drape of her Janmashtami Bandhani saree, Nita had styled the ivory Krishna-themed saree with its sheer organza pallu arranged across the front.

The scalloped edges added another decorative element to the ensemble.

Her jewellery for that look included a layered diamond neckpiece from her personal collection, matching earrings, a diamond bracelet and a large ring featuring emeralds.

She finished the styling with a bun surrounded by a rose-petal gajra, created by arranging folded pink rose petals tightly along a string.

Nita Ambani’s Festive Style Formula

The two looks demonstrate a consistent approach to festive Indian dressing: traditional textiles and motifs are paired with statement jewellery, carefully coordinated colours and detailed hair styling.

The powder blue Bandhani saree, in particular, shows how a softer base colour can support elaborate embellishment without appearing visually heavy. The gold zari, coloured accents and gemstone jewellery add richness, while the Gujarati drape keeps the silhouette rooted in tradition.
