Mohanlal’s much-awaited thriller Drishyam 3 has achieved a major milestone at the global box office. The Malayalam film crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide within just 58 hours of its release, continuing the successful legacy of the popular franchise.
The superstar shared the achievement with fans on social media by posting a celebratory poster highlighting the record-breaking figure.
“Thank you for carrying this journey with us for 13 years. Your love, support, and belief in this story continue to humble us every day. #Drishyam3 running successfully in theatres near you,” Mohanlal wrote.
Strong Overseas Performance Boosts Global Collection
The film opened strongly worldwide and reportedly grossed around ₹50 crore on its first day alone. According to industry tracking estimates, Drishyam 3 has collected approximately ₹47.17 crore gross in India so far.

The film’s estimated worldwide total now stands at ₹117.17 crore.
Among Highest-Grossing Malayalam Films
With its current earnings, Drishyam 3 has become one of the top-performing Malayalam films at the box office. The movie has already surpassed the lifetime collections of several notable releases, including:
- Patriot – ₹79.92 crore
- Marco – ₹102.55 crore
The film is now among the highest-grossing Malayalam releases in recent years. However, it is yet to overtake Mohanlal’s blockbuster L2 Empuraan, which reportedly earned ₹137.59 crore globally within three days.
Industry observers are now watching closely to see whether Drishyam 3 can eventually enter the ₹200 crore club.
