Aarti Ravi’s Mother Responds To Ravi Mohan’s Claims, Says Grandson Is Under Stress Amid Family Dispute

Sujatha Vijaykumar, the mother of Aarti Ravi, has publicly responded to allegations made by Tamil actor Ravi Mohan during his recent press conference, stating that the family has chosen not to intensify the matter publicly due to its emotional impact on their grandson.

Speaking during a recent interaction, Sujatha said the ongoing controversy surrounding Ravi Mohan and Aarti Ravi’s separation has placed considerable stress on the child, who is currently preparing for his Class 10 examinations.

“The reason I am not exaggerating this is that my grandson is writing his 10th standard exams and is under a lot of stress due to this issue,” she said.

According to Sujatha, the child has already witnessed situations that she believes he should not have experienced at such a young age. She added that the family is trying to avoid further public escalation.

During the interaction, Sujatha addressed several statements made by Ravi Mohan regarding his marriage and family life.

Referring to an earlier interview published in 2008, she claimed it contained details about “who got blackmailed and who cut their wrists to get married.”

She also denied Ravi Mohan’s statement that he had been paying Rs 25,000 every month toward her medical expenses. Responding to the allegation, she stated that even if such support had been provided, it would have been “a son-in-law’s duty.”

Sujatha further commented on Ravi’s criticism of people from the Tamil film industry who have publicly supported Aarti Ravi. According to her, many individuals in Tamil Nadu speak out when they believe injustice has been done to women.

She added that the family continues to trust the legal process regarding the matter.

Ravi Mohan’s Emotional Press Conference

Earlier, Ravi Mohan addressed the media and spoke about personal struggles related to his marriage. During the press conference, the actor alleged that he was being prevented from meeting his children and described the emotional toll the situation had taken on him.

He also claimed that cyberbullying had affected people close to him, including singer Keneeshaa Francis, who recently hinted at distancing herself from the controversy.

Ravi stated that he had entered the marriage against the wishes of his parents and said he was now “paying the price” for that decision.
