Suriya and Mamitha Baiju’s Vishwanath and Sons has maintained a strong run at the box office during its opening weekend. The Venky Atluri-directed family entertainer crossed the ₹110 crore mark worldwide within three days of its release, according to the figures provided.
The film had opened in India with more than ₹15 crore and picked up pace on its second day. On Saturday, Vishwanath and Sons recorded ₹25.73 crore, representing a reported 45% increase from its opening-day collection.
Vishwanath and Sons box office collection on Day 3
The film saw a moderate decline on its third day, collecting an estimated ₹20.55 crore net in India across 4,876 shows. The reported 7.6% drop from Saturday did little to slow its overall momentum.
After three days, the film’s reported India gross stood at ₹67.22 crore, while its domestic net collection reached ₹58.15 crore.

Vishwanath and Sons recorded an overall reported theatrical occupancy of 57.58% on Sunday.
The afternoon and evening shows registered the strongest occupancy, at 65.77% and 64.69%, respectively. The figures indicate continued audience interest during the first weekend, particularly during the higher-demand portions of the day.
The film’s performance also comes against largely positive reactions from audiences and critics, with its family-oriented treatment and emotional storyline emerging as some of its key talking points.
