Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben have found a home in Mumbai that makes the city’s coastline part of everyday life.

The couple, who married in Udaipur in January 2026 after dating for more than four years, have settled into a sea-facing apartment in Bandra. During a recent home tour with Curly Tales, they offered a glimpse of their interiors, favourite corners and the views that made the property stand out.

From a monochrome living room and a dedicated music studio to a balcony overlooking the Worli skyline, the apartment combines a contemporary aesthetic with details that reflect the couple’s personalities.

Nupur Sanon had a major say in the interiors

According to Stebin, Nupur took the lead when it came to deciding how their home should look.

The singer said around 70 per cent of the design input came from Nupur, while he contributed the remaining 30 per cent.

That influence can be seen across the apartment, where a restrained palette of white, black and neutral shades creates a clean and contemporary look. Plants and personal belongings add warmth to spaces that could otherwise feel overly minimal.

The result is a home that feels polished without losing its lived-in character.

The sea view was one of the biggest attractions

For Stebin, the apartment’s location and view were major selling points.

He recalled visiting the area around two years earlier while searching for a rental property and being particularly impressed by the view stretching from the Bandra Reclamation area towards Worli.

The singer said he liked the location so much that he eventually wanted to buy a home there.

Nupur was similarly impressed when she first saw the property.

“The view doesn’t look like Mumbai, this looks like Dubai sometimes,” she recalled telling Stebin.

The comparison reflects the striking combination of Mumbai’s coastline, high-rise skyline and open horizon visible from the apartment.

A living room designed around music

Music has a prominent place in the couple’s living space.

The living room features large display shelves carrying awards and other memorabilia, while a white piano adds another musical element to the predominantly black-and-white setting.

For Nupur and Stebin, the piano is not simply part of the décor. Music is something they enjoy together, making the instrument a functional part of their home life.

The living area flows into the dining space, where a large dining table sits alongside green chairs and black-and-white seating.

The neutral walls and uncluttered arrangement allow the sea view outside to remain one of the room’s defining features.

Their balcony brings the Mumbai skyline indoors

The sea-facing balcony is arguably one of the most distinctive parts of the apartment.

Large glass doors connect the main living space with the outdoor area, creating an uninterrupted visual link between the interiors and the coastline.

Plants, creepers and outdoor seating give the balcony a relaxed feel. From there, the couple can look towards the sea and the Worli skyline.

The property also includes a small private pool. The couple explained during their home tour that it was not operational when they purchased the apartment.

Even without the pool, however, the balcony remains one of the home’s standout spaces.

The kitchen brings Punjabi and Malayali flavours together

The kitchen has a softer look, with pastel blue and white forming the main colour palette.

It also reflects something more personal about the couple: their different culinary backgrounds.

Nupur comes from a Punjabi family, while Stebin has Malayali roots. Their home cooking therefore brings together different food traditions.

During the home tour, they spoke about Sunday meals that can include dishes such as sambhar-uttapam and chole bhature.

The kitchen’s contemporary design provides a neutral backdrop for that blend of food and family traditions.

Stebin Ben has his own music studio

Given Stebin’s career as a singer, it is hardly surprising that music has its own dedicated room in the apartment.

His recording studio has a noticeably darker aesthetic than the brighter communal areas of the home. Black interiors and music-related memorabilia give the space a more intimate studio atmosphere.

CD and DVD covers decorate the walls, while musical instruments, including a guitar and piano, are part of the setup.

The room provides Stebin with a dedicated space to work on music without leaving the comfort of home.

A small building with celebrity residents

The couple also revealed that their building has a relatively small number of apartments.

According to their account during the home tour, the seven-apartment building includes several recognisable names from Indian entertainment and sport.

Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni reportedly owns an apartment on the seventh floor, while singer Guru Randhawa is associated with the third floor. Actor and television personality Neha Dhupia has also reportedly moved into the building.

The presence of such high-profile residents adds another layer of celebrity appeal to an already sought-after Bandra address.
